Peeks to the Festa Schedule 2010 .. #4

Time for the 4th peek to the coming Festa Schedule 2010 that will start on Saturday, 26 June 2010 and ends Sunday, 8 August 2010. Therefore, if I got my calculations correct, it is going to be a 6 week schedule, with a total of 43 days.

Josef Abela will present a special programme on the eve of the kick off of the Festa 2010 schedule. Together with the help of the rest of the administration members and the equipe of RLQ, Josef will give the listeners a view on all the programmes of this schedule.

Now, let's take a look at more programmes that will be featured in the upcoming schedule. Loren Buttigieg and Jessica Cefai will team up to present ZooM Malta's Top 15, Wednesday nights on RLQ. A weekly chart will be uploaded on the programme's facebook page and also votes for your top 15 will be taken. DJ Jay Cee is back again on RLQ with All Time Favourites. The mastermind behind Dynamic Promotions, Gozo Music Festival, The Sole Music and Award Festival and DCode Club is willing to volunteer his time for another schedule for the benefit of all RLQ listeners. More details about the airing time of this programme will be issued soon.

Peeks to the Festa Schedule 2010 .. #3

Firstly, RLQ would like to wish a big Good Luck to Thea Garrett, Malta's ambassador for tonight's Eurovision Semi Final. RLQ was lucky enough to greet Thea and her family in RLQ premises last March and do an exclusive interview in which the new version of My Dream was first released in Gozo during this interview.

Since it is only a month to go to the start of the Festa Schedule 2010, why not give you an extra peek ...

Music always played an important factor in any RLQ schedule. RLQ is proud to announce that Monday Night Dance with Norbert Grima and Marcel Meylaq will be back for the Festa schedule. Music, News, Weather, Gossip and iTunes top 5 are some of the ingredients of this programme.

Nathan Portelli was first introduced during the last Easter Schedule. After being on air for just one programme, his potential for entertaining our listeners and providing a great DJ mix was well noted. Nathan will be once again behind the mics for Music Matters for the whole six weeks of the Festa schedule.

Hi there and welcome again to the second of a series of 'peeks' to the coming Festa Schedule 2010.

But before that, RLQ would like to inform you all that during the last administration meeting held on Saturday, 22 May 2010 at RLQ Board Room, through a unanimous agreement, Jessica Cefai was appointed as another member forming part of the administration of RLQ. Therefore, the administration of RLQ is now formed by Arch. Can. Dr Joe Zammit as chairman and Ivan Cefai as co-ordinator with Josef Abela, Karl Buttigieg, Jacqueline Cefai, Jessica Cefai, Sammy Meylaq and Philip Pisani as members. The best of luck to Jessica for the promotion and many thanks for all her work that she already has been doing ;)

Back to the Festa Schedule 2010. As a first program to be announced that will be included in the upcoming schedule is World Cup Update - South Africa 2010. Due to the fact that the vibe for this year's FIFA World Cup will be in their utmost, Marcel Meylaq and Kenny Grima will keep us updated with all the news from the biggest sporting event.

RLQ most popular program for the phone-ins and sms is the breakfast show. Qomna Jew?! will be back with Karl Buttigieg and Jacqueline Cefai from Monday to Saturday with some new slots. Daily competition with fantastic prices are to be expected and some surprises as well!! As for Sundays you will be with David and Doris Azzopardi with Bonġu Qala.

RadjuSerial for Festa 2010 - Recording Sessions

The recordings for the biggest RadjuSerial ever to be aired on RLQ are now completed. A cast of approximately 50 persons were involved. Special thanks goes to Lino Grech for providing us with the script. And now its up to Philip Pisani for the most enjoyable part ... editing!!!

Peeks to the Festa Schedule 2010 .. #1

After some weeks from updating the blog for a while (sorry for that), RLQ has surely not stopped from its work. After its Evaluation Seminar, the administration started working on its upcoming Festa Schedule 2010. From time to time, you are to find some hints on what you will be expecting from this schedule on this blog.

So let's start with the first peek.

The listeners of RLQ have a great love towards the radjudramm and the rakkonti. And thus, you do not expect a schedule to be without any one of them. In the coming Festa Schedule we can reveal that there is going to be a new radjudramm whose recordings are already underway. No sorry, I made a mistake here .. it is going to be a RadjuSerial with Philip Pisani as the producer and recorded by a cast of Qalin actors in RLQ Studios. Of course it is still early to reveal the name of the radjuserial but do not worry more hints are to come at a later stage. Just for your curiosity, the radjuserial is written by Lino Grech.
